Part-time for four
evenings and one assessment ride
Entry Requirements
Full Motorcycle
Licence.
You must provide your own motorcycle
and insurance etc. for assessment.
In some circumstances, participants
not currently in possession of a full
current driving licence may be permitted
to attend. This will be at the Tutor's
discretion.
Course Content
Your programme
will cover the following topics:
Attitudes - the profile behind
the visor
Current skills assessment
Advanced theory, cornering, observations
and positioning
Mechanical theory
Post-scene management - emergency
procedures including basic first
aid
Road craft principles in practice
(assessed)
Learning Styles
The course will
consist of lectures, discussion, practical
demonstrations and driving assessment.
Assessment
Current skills will be
assessed with a one and a half hour assessment
ride.
Future
Successful completion
of this course will entitle students to progress
to the level 2 course.
